Contract Rush DX is a run n' gun action game, with several playable characters, a full story, and hand-drawn visuals inspired by flash cartoons/games of the 2000s.Follow Cynthia, a dedicated mercenary trained by the mysterious mob boss "Renzo", as she takes on 6 main contracts, wherever that road may lead her.Releasing July 2025 on PC.

History

Initially beginning as a self-imposed 10 day gamejam, "Contract Rush" was released to Newgrounds in 2020, garnering a surprising amount of success and positive feedback.More details on the origins on the Team Ficus website!

Past Projects

Artist and musician Figburn previously worked on projects such as "Undertale Yellow" and "Friday Night Funkin", as well as a variety of webgames such as "Neon Rhythm" and "Figure Fumble".Many of them having been worked on concurrently with Contract Rush DX!-Programmer Melon previously completed many gamejams, including "Nest Quest" and "Jimmy Blitz and the Rocket Dice", both placing in their respective game jams!
